The series are designated as “Open” events as defined by paragraph C.2.2 of the ISAF Recognized J/80 Class Rules.

Each series is open to any J/80 class boat that meets the eligibility requirements of the class rules, registers, and pays the fee. In addition an owner or skipper of the boat must be an LWSA member.

An Owner’s Declaration as specified by paragraph A.12 of the ISAF Recognized J/80 Class Rules is required to be on file prior to the first race.  A pro-forma Owner’s Declaration is presented in Appendix H4 of the Class Rules.  Please prepare a copy of this form and submit it along with your entry fee.

A valid National Class Association Sticker (NCA) must be affixed to the transom of the hull.  (Paragraph B.1.1 of the ISAF Recognized J/80 Class Rules.)

Sails must have the class-royalty patch affixed.  (Paragraph G.2.3 of the ISAF Recognized J/80 Class Rules.)
