In recognition of the sailing accomplishments of a local New Hampshire sailor, David Adams, and in memory of his courageous battle against the disease that finally took his life, the LWSA’s Board of Directors, with the support of its membership and with the permission of Dave’s family, have endorsed the concept of establishing The LWSA David Adams Memorial Sailing Center on the shores of Lake Winnipesaukee.

The LWSA purchased the property at 25 Davis Rd in Gilford in the Spring of 2014. The sailing school and other LWSA programs will be using it during the year. We are in need, not only of financial support, but more importantly of people with energy to help us build a great community sailing center on Lake Winnipesaukee.
