Thursday 6 July 2006: Fleet 1 Tries Team Racing

Eight races with 13-16 knots of wind for the first Team race night. Twelve boats with four teams, Green, Blue, Yellow, White Teams, of three boats each. Six umpires and eight anchors holding the "N" course. Starting line boat and finish line boat. It was a night to remember; blocking, pass throughs, competitive starts, green flags, red flags, yellow flags, changing finish line, rolling starts, match racing start (Gostosa and Argo) and as one competitor said, "we are already at lay line!!!" The general thoughts were, "what a blast!!!!" Thank you everyone for making it so successful.
